University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture (FAZ) has qualified scientists in the field of agri-food economics ready to improve their scientific, innovation and academic capacities in order to become competitive on the scientific market, but also to offer new expertise to agri-food business sector. Therefore, a 3-year project focusing on use of experimental economics applied to agriculture, food and the environment has been designed in partnership with 3 partners from Italy, Greece and Sweden. About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.
EU contribution: €899k awarded to the consortium. The project runs over approximately 3.5 years from 2020-10-01 to 2024-03-31.
