At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2021, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 9.6% compared to 2020, reaching 15.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.6%.

Cyprus ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 11.7% (from 17.1% in 2016).
