At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2020, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 5.9% compared to 2019, reaching 23.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.0%.

Cyprus ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 38.2% (from 17.3% in 2015).
