Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2023, Denmark's main indicators increased by 3.0% compared to 2022, reaching 79.0%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 45.4%.

Denmark ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 26.6% (from 62.4% in 2018).
