Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2023, Sweden's main indicators increased by 5.0% compared to 2022, reaching 87.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 45.4%.

Sweden ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 32.2% (from 66.2% in 2018).
