Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2023, Portugal's main indicators increased by 3.3% compared to 2022, reaching 63.0%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 45.4%.

Portugal ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 20.7% (from 52.2% in 2018).
