At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2010, Estonia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 25.0% compared to 2009, reaching 16.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.1%.

Estonia ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 15.2% (from 19.1% in 2005).
