At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2021, Finland's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 21.6% compared to 2020, reaching 9.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.6%.

Finland ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.2% (from 9.3% in 2016).
