Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2022, Greece's main indicators increased by 18.1% compared to 2021, reaching 42.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 41.2%.

Greece ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 73.2% (from 24.5% in 2017).
