Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2022, Spain's main indicators increased by 10.6% compared to 2021, reaching 50.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 41.2%.

Spain ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 39.6% (from 36.5% in 2017).
