At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2000, Italy's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 7.1% compared to 1999, reaching 13.0%.

Italy ranks 15th out of 21 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 27.8% (from 18.0% in 1995).
