Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2020, Italy's main indicators increased by 18.7% compared to 2019, reaching 10.7%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 10.3%.

Italy ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 65.0% (from 6.5% in 2015).
