At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2019, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 4.8% compared to 2018, reaching 47.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.0%.

Latvia ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 73.6% (from 27.6% in 2014).
