Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2023, Latvia's main indicators decreased by 56.5% compared to 2022, reaching 1.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 11.0%.

Latvia ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 71.3% (from 4.7% in 2018).
