At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2019, Netherlands's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 9.3% compared to 2018, reaching 11.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.0%.

Netherlands ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 100.0% (from 5.9% in 2014).
