Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2020, Spain's main indicators increased by 25.2% compared to 2019, reaching 9.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.3%.

Spain ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 775.7% (from 1.1% in 2015).
