Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2021, Sweden's main indicators decreased by 10.0% compared to 2020, reaching 28.7%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 9.1%.

Sweden ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.0% (from 26.6% in 2016).
