Implementation of Benedita Business Location Area Infrastructure Networks (ALEB)
The operation consists of the construction of basic infrastructure networks, water, sewage, electricity, telecommunications, accesses, walks and parks, which allow for their full operation and enable the installation of industrial units, with an impact on economic and social development, by the creation of wealth and employment in Benedita and the Alcobaça region.
About the Competitiveness of SMEs objective
Thematic Objective 3 backs the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises through grants, financial instruments, business-development services and internationalisation support. SMEs account for the bulk of EU employment, so the objective acts as a regional jobs lever.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €3.4M toward a total project cost of €4.1M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
