The main objective of C5LAB is the development of innovative technologies for sustainable and low CO2 cement production. Through a holistic approach, C5LAB investigates several links in the production chain: Alternative raw materials, capture and reuse of CO2, synthetic fuels, energy efficiency, ecoefficient cements, eco-efficient cement materials (argamass and concretes), etc.
About the Sustainable and quality employment objective
Thematic Objective 8 supports sustainable and quality employment — youth-employment initiatives, active labour-market policies, self-employment incentives, modernisation of public-employment services.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €1.8M toward a total project cost of €2.2M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
