Establishment of a biodegradable waste treatment facility in the Gotley landfill
—Project goal – to develop the recycling of biodegradable waste, to promote reuse of waste in Pierīga waste management region. Thematic Objective 6 finances environment and resource efficiency — water and waste management, biodiversity protection, contaminated-site remediation, air quality, and the circular economy.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €29.6M toward a total project cost of €34.8M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
