Improving the status of species and habitats of Community importance in the forest ecosystems of selected protected areas
The aim of the project is to improve the conservation status of species and habitats and enhance biodiversity in selected Natura 2000 forest and permanent grasslands, namely 14 bird species and 11 habitats of Community importance in forest ecosystems in 13 NATURA 2000 sites and 1 protected area of national importance. About the Environment and resource efficiency objective
Thematic Objective 6 finances environment and resource efficiency — water and waste management, biodiversity protection, contaminated-site remediation, air quality, and the circular economy.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €5.7M toward a total project cost of €6.7M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
