The project contributes to solving the situation in urban mass transport in Bratislava by its nature and direct link to the projects of the renewal of the fleet of vehicles DPB. In the context of ensuring the operability of the renewed fleet of trolleybuses and trams, the main users of the project will be residents and visitors of Bratislava, who will use the modernised fleet, the maintenance of which will be provided by upgraded maintenance bases. About the Low-carbon economy objective

Thematic Objective 4 funds the low-carbon economy — renewable-energy capacity, energy efficiency in public buildings and housing, low-carbon urban mobility, smart grids and combined heat and power. It is the single largest climate strand of 2014–2020 Cohesion.

Co-funding: the EU contributes €7.4M toward a total project cost of €8.7M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
