Purchase of high-environmental low-storey public transport buses in DPMK, a.s.
The subject of the project is the purchase of 9 low-floor three-axle 18 meter buses of urban public transport and 9 electrobuses. Transport company Košice, joint stock company (DPMK) provides regular public transport. The city of Košice is a metropolis of eastern Slovakia and currently lives there 239 thousand inhabitants. DPMK provides regular public transport as the only company in Košice. DPMK provides its services not only to Košicens, but also to passengers from suburban areas. About the Low-carbon economy objective
Thematic Objective 4 funds the low-carbon economy — renewable-energy capacity, energy efficiency in public buildings and housing, low-carbon urban mobility, smart grids and combined heat and power. It is the single largest climate strand of 2014–2020 Cohesion.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €5.7M toward a total project cost of €6.7M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
