Modernisation of the vehicle fleet by purchasing public transport buses in Žilina
The project submitted by the transport enterprise of the town of Žiliny s.r.o. as a transport operator in the city of Žilina. The project focuses on “Increasing the attractiveness and competitiveness of public transport in Žilina by improving the quality of the bus transport fleet”, which is the aim of the present project. About the Low-carbon economy objective
Thematic Objective 4 funds the low-carbon economy — renewable-energy capacity, energy efficiency in public buildings and housing, low-carbon urban mobility, smart grids and combined heat and power. It is the single largest climate strand of 2014–2020 Cohesion.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €9.6M toward a total project cost of €11.2M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
