Improvement of the urban environment and the rehabilitation of old areas of the urban environment that are deteriorated and unrelated to the city, promoting ecological and sustainable urban spaces, as well as reversing the processes of urban and residential degradation, favoring a sustainable model that promotes integration in the city, social cohesion and the economic development of the area of action.

Thematic Objective 9 finances social inclusion and the fight against poverty: integration of marginalised communities, social housing, anti-discrimination measures, deinstitutionalisation of care.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €120.1M toward a total project cost of €133.5M — a co-funding rate of 90%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
