The project aims to implement pro-quality measures in the health care system related to the adaptation of medical facilities to the needs of people with disabilities. The project will support 25 hospitals and 125 GHs.Accessibility standard for hospital and GH will be prepared within the project. The above mentioned entities will be able to apply for funding for accessibility activities within 4 architectural, digital, communication and organizational components. Thematic Objective 9 finances social inclusion and the fight against poverty: integration of marginalised communities, social housing, anti-discrimination measures, deinstitutionalisation of care.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €71.6M toward a total project cost of €84.9M — a co-funding rate of 84%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
