Klaipėda City Public Transportation Renewal
The aim of the project “Renewal of Klaipėda City Public Transportation” is to improve the quality of the services provided by public transport in the city of Klaipeda, thus encouraging residents to make more use of public transport. The project is implemented together with a partner UAB “Klaipedos Bus Park”, with which a public service contract has been concluded. About the Low-carbon economy objective
Thematic Objective 4 funds the low-carbon economy — renewable-energy capacity, energy efficiency in public buildings and housing, low-carbon urban mobility, smart grids and combined heat and power. It is the single largest climate strand of 2014–2020 Cohesion.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €4.2M toward a total project cost of €4.9M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
