There is a great need in Europe for a laboratory site with innovative facilities and equipment to accelerate the development and market uptake of biobased and circular polymers in sustainable applications. About the Low-carbon economy objective
Thematic Objective 4 funds the low-carbon economy — renewable-energy capacity, energy efficiency in public buildings and housing, low-carbon urban mobility, smart grids and combined heat and power. It is the single largest climate strand of 2014–2020 Cohesion.
EU contribution: €5.3M from the Cohesion envelope.
