In recent years, many people in Flanders and the Netherlands have been able to install solar cells, thanks to the subsidy policy. In some places the traditional solar panels have become a familiar sight on streets, even though not everyone considers them attractive. PV Opmaat responds to this challenge by finding more efficient and customised ways to integrate solar panels into homes and buildings. About the Low-carbon economy objective
Thematic Objective 4 funds the low-carbon economy — renewable-energy capacity, energy efficiency in public buildings and housing, low-carbon urban mobility, smart grids and combined heat and power. It is the single largest climate strand of 2014–2020 Cohesion.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €3.2M toward a total project cost of €7.0M — a co-funding rate of 45%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
Kohesio is the European Commission's open-data platform for projects co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund Plus, the Cohesion Fund and the Just Transition Fund. It draws on lists of beneficiaries published by national managing authorities and harmonises them into a single EU-wide view.
