The biggest part of the programme area INTERREG V-A Austria – Czech Republic lies in the rural cross-border area of the two states, which is far away from the economic, industrial and technological centres of both countries. About the Environment and resource efficiency objective
Thematic Objective 6 finances environment and resource efficiency — water and waste management, biodiversity protection, contaminated-site remediation, air quality, and the circular economy.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €957k toward a total project cost of €1.1M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
