The constantly growing region with the capitals of Bratislava and Vienna is characterised by urban character and thus represents a dynamic economic area with diverse employment opportunities. On the other hand, the region is also rich in nature (protected) areas. The linguistic and cultural diversity that characterises this region is an important factor for the development and competitiveness and attractiveness of this particular habitat. About the Efficient public administration objective
Thematic Objective 11 supports more efficient public administration — capacity building of public bodies, anti-corruption measures, judicial-reform support, e-administration.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €2.5M toward a total project cost of €2.9M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
