Business Clusters Integrated Sustainable Energy PackageS
Increase the adoption of mid-scale sustainable energy technologies (heat exchange, wind energy, combined heat & power, smart grids or large scale solar) in business clusters resulting in less carbon emissions and a greener and competitive 2Seas region. Remove interacting barriers, local and international, to enhance the creation of energetic synergies between businesses. Reorganize the supply side on a business cluster level: integration and tuning of available low carbon technologies and surrounding services (financial, organizational, legal) into integrated sustainable energy packages.
About the Low-carbon economy objective
Thematic Objective 4 funds the low-carbon economy — renewable-energy capacity, energy efficiency in public buildings and housing, low-carbon urban mobility, smart grids and combined heat and power. It is the single largest climate strand of 2014–2020 Cohesion.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €2.1M toward a total project cost of €3.5M — a co-funding rate of 60%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
Kohesio is the European Commission's open-data platform for projects co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund Plus, the Cohesion Fund and the Just Transition Fund. It draws on lists of beneficiaries published by national managing authorities and harmonises them into a single EU-wide view.
