Flourish landscapes for butterflies in SK and AT
The project’s goal is to reduce species loss. As part of the BLUEHLINGE project, large interactive junctions and smaller stepping stones in the form of flowering habitats for butterflies are being built in close cooperation with experienced strategic partners in cities and towns in AT and SK. The junctions are emerging as lighthouse projects in locations of Bisamberg, Vienna, Marchegg, Bratislava and Stupava. About the Environment and resource efficiency objective
Thematic Objective 6 finances environment and resource efficiency — water and waste management, biodiversity protection, contaminated-site remediation, air quality, and the circular economy.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €1.2M toward a total project cost of €1.4M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
