The importance of urban green spaces for climate adaptation and biodiversity is currently not given enough attention in CZ and AT. Green spaces in built-up areas have important ecological functions (microclimate, habitat for insects) and also influence people's quality of life (adaptation to climate change). At the same time, the municipal administration can determine how these areas are designed and maintained. Thematic Objective 11 supports more efficient public administration — capacity building of public bodies, anti-corruption measures, judicial-reform support, e-administration.
