The project Nature Experience "Discovering the Danube Valley" wants to give cycling along the Danube a new facet and inspire new target groups for the Danube Valley between Passau (Hofkirchen) and Schlögener Schlinge (Aschach), by those interested in nature should be specifically addressed and car travelers should be motivated to switch to cycling, hiking or even a combination with the ship. Thematic Objective 6 finances environment and resource efficiency — water and waste management, biodiversity protection, contaminated-site remediation, air quality, and the circular economy.
