The overall objective of the project is to establish a cross-border protected area management and technical support for the biosphere region Berchtesgadener Land, Lungau Biosphere Reserve and protected areas of Mitterpinzgau. Thematic Objective 6 finances environment and resource efficiency — water and waste management, biodiversity protection, contaminated-site remediation, air quality, and the circular economy.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €684k toward a total project cost of €912k — a co-funding rate of 75%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
