Eco2Eco aims to stimulate the wood market through the market-oriented collaboration of forest owners and their organisations, the business world, knowledge institutions and the government. The initiators want to use innovation to increase efficiency in wood production and marketing. In the various partners' woodlands, which cover some 270,000 hectares, innovative management methods and techniques aimed at sustainable wood production and exploitation will be developed on 3,000 hectares. About the Environment and resource efficiency objective
Thematic Objective 6 finances environment and resource efficiency — water and waste management, biodiversity protection, contaminated-site remediation, air quality, and the circular economy.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €2.5M toward a total project cost of €5.0M — a co-funding rate of 50%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
