The Czech Republic and Austria are facing a change in their entire waste management. The new targets focus on the still inadequate recycling and waste prevention in order to minimize waste. One of the greatest challenges of today is the transition from a linear economy to a circular economy. About the Environment and resource efficiency objective
Thematic Objective 6 finances environment and resource efficiency — water and waste management, biodiversity protection, contaminated-site remediation, air quality, and the circular economy.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €774k toward a total project cost of €911k — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
