LD deals with insufficient provision of cross-border traveller information on public transport, particularly considering cross-border commuting and mobility in rural areas . The overall project objective is to foster environmentally-friendly mobility options and balanced accessibility in the Danube Region through transnational, interoperable and multimodal journey planning in urban and rural areas. Thematic Objective 7 funds sustainable transport and network infrastructure: TEN-T core-network completion, rail electrification, urban mobility, ports and inland-waterway upgrades.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €2.5M toward a total project cost of €2.9M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
