This operation covers the cost of carrying out the polymerase chain reaction test (PCR) for the diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection promoted by the Catalan Health Service. In this case, the PCRs implemented by the centers that are part of the Comprehensive Health System of Public Use of Catalonia (SISCAT) and the Health Grouping in the Budgets of the Generalitat de Catalunya 2020, that is, the entities of the System that are mainly owned by the Department of Health or CatSalut (public law entities subject to the private legal system, consortia and foundations) are included.
