Dorsal’s mission is to pilot, within the framework of the National Very High-Debit Programme, described in a Master Plan of Digital Development Limousin, the construction of digital infrastructures (flow up, digital inclusion devices, fiber optics) on the areas of public initiative of the Limousin (outside agglomeration of Limoges, Brive, Guéret, Tulle). About the Information and communication technologies objective
Thematic Objective 2 finances information and communication technologies — broadband roll-out, e-government, e-health, digital skills and the digitisation of public services. It targets the digital divide between EU regions in the 2014–2020 period.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €5.2M toward a total project cost of €37.8M — a co-funding rate of 14%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
