MagWind research and development project on the manufacture of high-performance permanent magnets from recycled magnets

Mag REEsource, an industrial startup created in 2020, wants to position itself on the production of permanent magnets from recycled magnets to meet the challenges of sustainable development and European sovereignty in this field. A first site capable of recycling 50 tonnes of magnets per year was deployed in Noyarey in the department of Isère. Mag REEsource wants to implement a technological innovation by launching a research project to develop another recycling technology based on waste smelting that will develop high-performance magnetic characteristics for the wind sector.
