EV-WT Training Programme
The proposed project will provide upskilling/training in 2 linked low-carbon technologies, to re-engage existing skills formerly utilised in peat-based industry and to provide sustainable employment opportunities into the future for the County workforce. In particular, the proposal provides opportunities for former workers and future generations disadvantaged by changes resulting from the implementation of Ireland’s Climate Action Plan, through upskilling pathways that enable participation in the move to renewables and electrical transportation.
