The project is located in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, its scope includes the purchase of 23 electric multiple units for the operation of regional passenger transport. Its implementation started in 2022 with the announcement of an open tender, under which a contractor was selected and a contract for the supply of railway vehicles was signed with NEWAG S.A. The main problem that this project aims to solve is the large number of worn-out railway vehicles and the lack of systematic replacement of rolling stock.
