Interventions for the urban development of Orestiada following the results of the SUMP and Traffic Study Department A
The proposed Act includes urban regeneration interventions on the south and north side of the city as well as on Vas Konou Konstantinoupolis and Evripidou streets The interventions include the development of one-way roads the construction of circular nodes the construction of pavements the installation of smart equipment and infrastructure for urban lighting and street lighting The aim of the interventions is to improve urban mobility and accessibility the improvement of vehicle and pedestrian traffic and the overall upgrading of the surrounding and built space
Co-funding: the EU contributes €6.2M toward a total project cost of €7.3M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
