Submarine permafrost, a vital component of the Arctic environment, plays a significant role in geological and environmental processes. However, critical knowledge gaps persist, necessitating comprehensive investigations. Our project, 'MANPERWISE,' seeks to address these gaps and enhance our understanding of this dynamic phenomenon. Despite advancements, uncertainties surround the extent, thickness, and degradation of submarine permafrost in the Arctic. About Horizon Europe (2021–2027)
