The SINTACT project (Social Innovation Methods and Tools for Communities Affected by Transition(s)) aims to develop social innovation tools and methods to support regions in achieving a fair and inclusive transition towards a green economy. As Europe moves towards climate neutrality, communities reliant on fossil fuels and traditional industries face growing uncertainty, with rising unemployment and energy poverty disproportionately affecting vulnerable groups such as youth, women, and the elderly.To tackle these issues, the project takes a comparative international approach, spanning three E…
About Horizon Europe (2021–2027)
Horizon Europe is the EU's current research and innovation programme, covering 2021 to 2027 with a budget of roughly €95.5 billion. Its three pillars are Excellent Science (frontier research and mobility), Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness (mission-driven collaborative projects in health, climate, digital, security and food) and Innovative Europe (the EIC and EIT).
