The MELIITA proposal will support the smart growth of the Maltese SMEs by increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of investments in research, development and innovation and to contribute to a better and more efficient connection of stakeholders and players along the innovation chain. It namely aims to:•Strengthen innovation capacity and to ensure Maltese beneficiaries of the SME Instrument receive the most appropriate support services throughout Phase 1 / Phase 2 based on identified weaknesses in their innovation capacities and so encourage the successful exploitation of their innovation …
About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.
