The overall aim of the project is a 3 day High level international conference, which will raise awareness of the potential for the financial instruments and accompanying measures launched under Horizon 2020 to enhance access to finance for research, development and innovation. The role of the preparation of the investment project provided by Innovfin advisory will be outlined in compliance with the Political guidelin announced by President Juncker.A special attention will be given to concrete measures supporting innovative SMEs. About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.
EU contribution: €350k awarded to the consortium. The project runs over approximately 0.8 years from 2015-02-02 to 2015-12-01.
