MastCloud Cost-efficient, 35 seconds, comprehensive mastitis management system for dairy farmers and veterinarians

On dairy farms, mastitis or udder inflammation often is the most common disease and the major reason for antibiotics use. Annual losses in the milk supply chain due to mastitis are estimated to be over 1 billion euro in Europe, with similar figures in other parts of the world. In order to reduce these losses, we propose an innovative Cloud-connected mastitis management system composed of an instrument and a modular software suite. About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation.
